An inter-island drug syndicate is on trial. The five defendants, Munawir and Muslih, brothers, brought methamphetamine from Aceh, purchased from Ikbal, a fugitive, Jamaludin. Muslih introduced him to Ikbal as the owner of a kilo of methamphetamine worth 290 million rupiah.

Muslih and Munawir called Afrizal from the hotel. He was secured by the police in Jakarta. The 100 million rupiah had been transferred.

Judge Rahman Raja was nervous, finding it strange that he had escaped the airport with methamphetamine four times. “Your drug business is a syndicate,” said Judge Rahman.
