National Police Anti-Terror Detachment 88 Arrests YK in Bogor as a Terror Facilitator.

The National Police’s Special Detachment (Densus 88) Anti-Terror unit has revealed the role of a suspect with the initials YK, who was arrested in connection with a terrorism case in Rumpin, Bogor, West Java.
YK is said to be a facilitator for a terrorist group.

“He was involved, held various positions, and acted as a facilitator,” Densus 88 spokesperson AKBP Mayndra Eka Wardhana told reporters on Monday (July 21, 2025).

However, Mayndra has not yet revealed which terror network YK is affiliated with. Mayndra stated that YK was arrested on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Kampung Sawah Village, Rumpin, Bogor.

During the arrest, Mayndra continued, officers searched YK’s residence and confiscated several pieces of evidence, including items attached to the suspect’s body.

“The evidence includes a cellphone, identification, a motorcycle, some money, and other items,” he said.

According to information from Kampung Sawah Village Head Edi Riadi, YK is an ornamental plant trader who has only been married to a woman in Kampung Sawah Village for six months.

“He is a flower and ornamental plant owner,” said Edi.
