OSS OF RESIDENTS IN HOMES IN SAPUH BY STRONG WINDS.

A tornado struck a residential area in Cilongok Village, RT 01 RW 04, Pakuhaji Village, Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on Monday night at around 10:00 PM WIB.

As a result of the incident, one resident’s house was severely damaged.

UDIN, one of the residents whose house was directly affected, admitted to being devastated by the tragedy.

When met by the media, he recounted the events that unfolded.

“It was around 10:00 PM, when the wind suddenly picked up very strong.

Shortly afterward, my house was completely destroyed by the tornado.

Thank God, there were no casualties,” said Udin with a sad expression.

Although there were no casualties, the damage to the house caused Udin and his family significant material losses.

The roof and structure of the house were completely destroyed by the powerful winds.

Upon learning of the incident, M. Sanusi, SH, M.Si., the Head of Pakuhaji Village, immediately went to the scene to inspect the condition of the affected residents’ homes.

During his visit, he was accompanied by Gugun, Head of the Pakuhaji Village Community Empowerment Institute (LPM).

As a demonstration of the village government’s concern and swift response, M. Sanusi provided emergency aid in the form of basic necessities, including instant noodles, cooking oil, and rice, to the affected victims.

“We are here to assess the residents’ condition and provide initial assistance. Hopefully, this assistance can ease the burden on those affected by this disaster,” said M. Sanusi at the scene.

The village government also urged residents to remain vigilant against the recent frequent extreme weather, especially at night.

As of this writing, the village government was still assessing the damage and coordinating with relevant parties for further action.
