By optimizing the 110 Contact Center service, the Tangerang City Metro Police hope to further increase public trust.

TANGERANG, INDONESIAPOS.NET.

In order to improve the speed and quality of public services, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) continues to optimize its nationally integrated 110 Contact Center service.

This service is the result of a collaboration between the National Police and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom).

This was conveyed by the Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Dr. Raden Muhammad Jauhari, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si., during the Tangerang City Metro Police Year-End 2025 event held at the Tangerang City Metro Police Headquarters on Tuesday (December 31, 2025).

The Police Chief explained that the 110 Contact Center is intended to meet the public’s need for fast, easily accessible, and accountable public security services.

“The 110 Contact Center demonstrates the National Police’s commitment to providing fast and responsive services to the public.

Every report received will be recorded and documented in the system, facilitating the monitoring and evaluation of police responses in the field,” said the Police Chief.

He added that the 110 Contact Center system is supported by an integrated application that records all interactions between the National Police and the public.

With this system, the National Police can monitor and respond to every public need in a measurable and accountable manner.

“This service channel is not limited to telephone, but also planned to include SMS, email, fax, and social media, all supported by the Telkom Group network in Indonesia,” he explained.

Through the 110 access number, the public can directly connect with officers or agents who provide various services, ranging from police information and incident reporting.

These services include traffic accidents, disasters, and riots, as well as criminal complaints such as threats, insults, and acts of violence.

The Police Chief emphasized that the 110 Contact Center service is free for all members of the public.

However, he urged the public to use the service responsibly.

“We urge the public not to misuse the 110 service. We will investigate any false or fraudulent reports.

This service is intended for the benefit of public safety and security,” the Chief of Police emphasized.

By optimizing the 110 Contact Center service, the Tangerang City Metro Police hope to further increase public trust.

This also strengthens the presence of the National Police (Polri) in the community as protectors, guardians, and servants of the public.

The National Police is currently improving its public image. The Chief of Police acknowledged that there are one or two police officers who have committed reprehensible acts.

Currently, if a member is found to be unruly, they are immediately subject to an ethics hearing and dismissal. Previously, the police chief said that it was easier to just transfer them to the outskirts.

The number of enforcement actions during 2024 and 2025 was quite significant, particularly regarding the over-the-counter sale of Schedule G drugs.

Crimes like sex crimes and the murders of female students and taxi drivers are being swiftly uncovered.

The body in the barrel remains unsolved. However, officers are still working to uncover it, the police chief said to the media at the end of 2025.
