The service provided to patients at Tigaraksa Regional Hospital is very poor, as patients are not treated according to standard operating procedures.

Tigaraksa, INDONESIAPOS.NET.

THE HELL IS RELEASING, Hospital services allegedly do not comply with procedures. Tigaraksa Hospital, Banten, is suspected of not receiving proper facilities during treatment on Wednesday (12/17).

Many patients queued in pain and did not receive proper treatment.

“The Emergency Department (IGD) at Tigaraksa Hospital, Tangerang Regency, has received another complaint after it was deemed that the service was not functioning optimally, reflecting its basic function as an emergency treatment facility,” said the victim.

Field findings showed a number of patients waiting in line without further medical treatment, despite presenting with complaints requiring immediate treatment.

Monitoring at the scene found patients simply lined up and sitting in wheelchairs.

Medical treatment was limited to checking vital signs, with no further tests such as blood sampling, IV insertion, or wound care.

One complaint was made by Ayu Rosaindah, a family member of a patient who brought her sister to the ER at Tigaraksa Hospital with shortness of breath.

Ayu admitted that her sister was asked to return to a primary health care facility (faskes) due to a BPJS referral.

“My sister was gasping for breath, but she was told to go back to the primary health care facility for emergency room services,” Ayu told reporters early Tuesday (December 15, 2025).

After the family insisted, the doctor finally performed an examination. However, according to Ayu, the examination was limited to a question-and-answer session without any further medical treatment.

“They just asked what was wrong and how she was feeling. They didn’t examine her; it was more like an interview,” she said.

Furthermore, a traffic accident victim was also allegedly found at the emergency room with injuries and visible bleeding.

However, the victim was reportedly only offered wound cleaning without further medical treatment.

According to one of the doctors on duty, further medical treatment for the patient could only be performed once the patient had been assigned a bed.

The doctor explained that until the patient had been assigned a bed, medical personnel could only perform an initial examination, which included checking vital signs in accordance with the hospital’s internal standard operating procedures (SOP).

This situation sparked disappointment among the patient’s family. Several families were visibly upset and chose to take their family members to other healthcare facilities, refusing to accept the SOP’s rationale.

Unwilling to let anything untoward happen, after waiting for several hours without any certainty about treatment, Ayu finally decided to take her sister to another healthcare facility.

This decision was made because the patient was deemed to require immediate treatment, while the emergency room at Tigaraksa Regional Hospital (RSUD Tigaraksa) had not yet provided clarity regarding further medical treatment.

Ayu stated that at the next healthcare facility, the patient received more responsive service and was deemed to have been treated appropriately for the emergency situation.

This situation raises questions regarding the implementation of the SOP for emergency services at RSUD Tigaraksa, particularly regarding the limitations on medical treatment for patients who have not yet been assigned a bed.

And the suitability of field practices with the principles of emergency care.

As of the writing of this report, RSUD Tigaraksa management had not provided an official statement regarding the alleged restrictions on emergency services at RSUD Tigaraksa’s ER.

The editorial team is still seeking clarification and the right of reply from the hospital.

“The service provided to patients at Tigaraksa Regional Hospital is very poor, as patients are not treated according to standard operating procedures,” said resident Judiarsih.
