The event, which took place at the Tangerang City Metropolitan Police Integrated Security Unit (Satkamling Terpadu), Community Hall of RW 09, Griya Permata Housing Complex, Petir Village, Cipondoh District, was attended by the Tangerang City Metropolitan Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Dr. Raden Muhammad Jauhari, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si., accompanied by Senior Police Officers.

“This Ngopi Kamtibmas (Community Security Coffee) is a form of the National Police’s presence in the community.

We want to directly listen to residents’ aspirations and build two-way communication to create a safe and conducive community security and order situation,” said Senior Commissioner Jauhari.

The Police Chief also highlighted the issue of juvenile delinquency, which is currently a serious concern, such as brawls, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and illegal street racing.

According to him, these problems cannot be resolved by the police alone but require the active participation of all elements of society.

“Our current focus is on suppressing youth brawls. Almost all criminal incidents originate from the influence of alcohol, drugs, and narcotics.

Therefore, I invite all elements of society to work together to prevent this,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, the Police Chief emphasized that the Tangerang City Metro Police will continue to take preemptive, preventive, and repressive measures through patrols.

“The state is obligated to protect its citizens. We ensure that no member of our staff is involved in or supports the distribution of narcotics and drugs.

We also ask parents to play a more active role in supervising their children to prevent them from falling into negative social circles,” he added.

In closing, the Police Chief urged the public not to hesitate to report any disturbances to public order and security to the police through the Bhabinkamtibmas (Community Police Officer), the nearest police station, or the 110 Call Center.

“Security is not only the police’s responsibility, but our shared responsibility. With good communication and partnership, we can keep Tangerang City safe and conducive,” he concluded.

The Ngopi Kamtibmas event concluded with a question-and-answer session, the symbolic handover of a wooden gong (gong), the distribution of social assistance in the form of basic food packages, and a group photo in a friendly atmosphere.
